If you are starting a translation business, or you have won a government translation contract and are desperate to find qualified linguists and editors, yet not knowing where to begin, contact us and we will help you with your staffing needs. This is how it works:
Contact us and our project manager will communicate with you at your convenience, or if you are from out of state, we can arrange a phone interview with you to get a preliminary idea about your staffing needs. While we will not be involved in advertising for the jobs and the initial acceptance of applications, we will prepare a translation or editing proficiency tests for applicants in whom you are interested. You will receive the tests, and use them.
When you return the applicants' tests, we start our assessment process of the applicant, and will offer you a report on each applicant, with our recommendations. Our experience taught us that you should have several tests. Companies that have been using the same test for months or years do not get reliable results because new applicants might have had access to the test before taking it.
Our fees for preparing a test, vary depending on the complexity of the tests you choose. On the other hand, our fee for cheching the tests, assessing the applicant and submitting our recommendations, is based on the scope of your project..
